Psalm 128
A song of ascents.
1 Blessed are all who fear the Lord,
who walk in obedience to him.
2 You will eat the fruit of your labor;
blessings and prosperity will be yours.
3 Your wife will be like a fruitful vine
within your house;
your children will be like olive shoots
around your table.
4 Yes, this will be the blessing
for the man who fears the Lord.
The freedom you desire requires more effort than you thought it would or should have.
We have to make peace with the high cost of escape from captivity: be it physical, spiritual, emotional, etc.
It can feel like paying off a million dollar debt with a paper route, but just keep rolling and throwing papers.
Belief is the gas that powers the forward momentum in life, but hope is the chief additive to it.
Be transformed by the renewing of the mind, Romans !2:1-2 says. This is not a coat of paint on a 10 year old Ford Fiesta; it’s a dramatic internal metamorphosis into a new creation, with only the old spiritual DNA present.
You have become your destiny…
