John 15:1-2 \u201cI am the true vine and my Father is the gardener. He cuts off every branch in me that bears no fruit, while every branch that does bear fruit He prunes so that it will be even more fruitful.\u201d (NIV) <\/p>\n

Every <\/span> branch. This means all Christians will have shears drawn near at some point. Ouch! It\u2019s important to respond properly and recognize what is taking place. Do we complain, rebel, or fall away in frustration or have joy, comfort, and rest, keeping our eyes on the gain and not the pain? <\/p>\n

I was going through some major scalping when I picked up a book that confirmed the lessons I was learning. The first lesson was distinguishing the difference between the discipline of the Lord and pruning.<\/p>\n
