There\u2019s an epic battle going on,
\nWe must become aware,
\nLest we be left behind and fall
\nTo its accusing faire.<\/p>\n

In the past these enemies were giants, larger than life-
\nNow they attack invisibly, but still put up a fight.
\nThey come to wound, distract, steal, and often bring a scare,
\nWe must learn to defend ourselves-
\nOr risk falling to despair.<\/p>\n

Our God, who created us,
\nAllowed an enemy to live,
\nEquipping us for battle;
\nForming a weapon that\u2019s fit.<\/p>\n

We become strong in battle and overcome his taunts;
\nWe refuse the accusations through our alert response.
\nBesides the sword for battle-
\nPraise and presence guards our lives;
\nGod is our refuge and we speak His truth to survive.<\/p>\n

We then become a channel for God to indwell,
\nThe beauty of the battle is breaking chains of hell.
\nWe now stand in courage with our shield of faith held high,
\nAnd do not shrink in fear
\nWhen flaming arrows come darting by.<\/p>\n

We\u2019re crowned as His daughters,
\nNo longer afraid,
\nDiscerning his schemes,
\nSo others may be brave.<\/p>\n

We now display the strength and weapon we\u2019ve become,
\nThat we would run to the battle to free others for the Son.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
